ABOUT BILLY BRANCH
EMMY AWARD WINNER·3× GRAMMY® NOMINEE·BLUES HALL OF FAME

The ambassador of Chicago Blues, Billy Branch was discovered in college by Willie Dixon and spent six years touring with Dixon’s Chicago All-Stars. He has since appeared on more than 300 recordings — with Taj Mahal, Koko Taylor, Johnny Winter, Keb’ Mo’ and more — recorded 16 albums of his own, and led the Sons of Blues on more than 300 international tours over fifty years. A lifelong champion of blues education, he brings the music to students worldwide through his Blues in Schools program.
